Fluoride Class Action supports the work of Washington Action for Safe Water, particularly its petition to the Washington Board of Health for rulemaking regarding fluoridation.
WASW filed a petition for rulemaking back in May of 2010, asking that in order to fluoridate that water districts obtain FDA approval of fluoridation materials. The Board of Health rejected that petition.
WASW filed its appeal of that rejection on September 13, 2010. The appeal was directed to Governor Gregoire.
Further WASW filed a new petition focusing on the lead which is added to drinking water because of slicofluorides.
