Fluoridationists, wake up.moderate-fluorosis

One fluoridationist says: “Severe fluorosis measured less than 1%.”

That’s 1% of kids age 12-15.

Are you fluoridationists okay with giving 1% of the population severe dental fluorosis? 307 million x 1% = what? 3.07 million people.

This is an accurate summary of fluorosis in 12-15 year olds:

The fluoridationist literature admits that 41% of children age 12-15 suffer from dental fluorosis, that 8.6% suffer from mild fluorosis (white spots and some brown spots with up to 50% of enamel impacted), and that 3.6% suffer from moderate and severe fluorosis (white spots and brown spots and sometimes pitting and chalky teeth and up to 100% of enamel impacted). 8.6% + 3.6% = 12.2%.  See: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db53.pdf

8.6% have mild fluorosis. Is that okay with you? Just to reduce the carries rate 10% or maybe 25%? Or maybe very none at all? When there are other and better ways to deal with tooth decay? It’s a disease. Kill the streptococcus mutans, and decay is gone.

3.6% that have moderate and severe fluorosis. That’s around 2.6% with moderate fluorosis and 1% with severe fluorosis.

Probably you will say, it’s not 1% of the entire population that has severe fluorosis, just 1% of kids age 12-15. True, but that wedge of kids is growing up and becoming the general population. With a new wedge of kids with that much severe fluorosis coming along right behind them. Soon it will be 3.07 million if we keep serving fluoridated water..

Mild fluorosis is not okay looking either. See these examples:

Fluoridationists say they are doing it for the poor. But fluorosis is twice as bad among Blacks and Latinos. See: http://fluoridealert.org/studies/dental_fluorosis02/

Is that acceptable collateral damage?

Likewise, it is only around 1% of the population that has allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to fluoridated water. See: http://washingtonsafewater.com/wp-content/uploads/Appendix-60-Allergy.pdf.

Same 3.07 million. No, its only 1% times around 200 million, the number fluoridated, only around 2.0 million. Is that okay? You might say, oh, it’s psychosomatic. No. See: http://www.fluoride-class-action.com/alergic-reaction-to-fluoride.

Is that acceptable collateral damage?

You fluoridationists just love fluoride. And you don’t care who you hurt.
